It started with a dumb idea: an album cover that looks like one of those tier lists online.

I'm at work creating another proper album, but I had some leftover experiments that I couldn't find a place for while working on it. Then the idea really started taking shape: what if I took those tracks plus a bunch of my old rehearsal scratch tracks from previous albums and started compiling them together? Well, the "tiers" of the backstage catwalk started coming together, and that's how this "greatest hits" album came about.

I should mention that the "Proto" tracks are not 1-to-1 the same as the final songs on their respective albums. Sometimes some things were changed, like song times, what notes to play, how to play them, etc.
