I've had the backing track for this sitting on a computer since the "Invasion of the Bugmen" sessions. I've been wanting to use it for something for the last four years, and finally had an idea while working on this album.

Verse 1:
All hail our church of blue
It never steers us wrong
And we are bound to its word
It never lies to us
It's been entrenched with us
And anything else is absurd
We'll watch "The Simpsons" 'til
It is the end of time
We will gladly eat all those turds (more please)

All hail Maddow and Carlson
They are the voices that we all need

Verse 2:
Our institutions
Preconceived notions
They make up the rock of this church
We make up our own rules
And we call them our laws
Holy texts we call our research
It doesn't matter if
The footage is made up
Our holy word won't be besmirched (obey)

Settled science, an oxymoron
But that's what we continue to say

Verse 3:
We don't want opinions
That contradict our own
We want to stay in our bubble
We'll try to shut it down
Before you say a word
Your life will be filled with trouble
And if you try to fight
Or to apologize
Then we will bully you double (toxic)

If you appear, then we will say
"And we just lost our satellite feed"
