I knew I wanted to do something with Gorab, my most offensive character, for a long time, but I wasn't sure what. I thought about a comic story, but Gorab needs the voice to go with the awful things he says and a silent medium doesn't work for that. I thought about an animated short, like a courtroom drama where Gorab is on trial or something, but animation takes a long time to do especially if you are just one person doing it (although I did do some very short animated videos for the parody songs on this album). Eventually, I decided on a comedy album, split between skits and music.
Much of Gorab's material here was written over the span of a year while killing time. There was a lot that was not used either because I wasn't sure how to fit it into this interview segment, or because it was not funny and didn't work. I wasn't sure if I wanted to have the songs in between the different interview segments or just have the interview in one long chunk and the songs separate. In the end, I went with the second option. Think of the interview as "Side A" and the songs as "Side B".

Special thanks: gargaro.com for the Bill Clinton "Mummy" clip. I had to upscale it to a 16 bit sample rate WAV because my DAW doesn't recognize 8 bit at all, but the fact that your site was the only place I could find that infamous audio helped make Gorab's Mummy joke work.
