I wrote this song about my hometown of Burlington, WI. I was trying to go for something like a Power Pop meets Indie feel to it, though I've heard many people say different things like a punk rock or B-52s-like song.
lyrics
Walkin' down
On the streets of my old town
Lookin' for
Another place to hang around
There is Adrian's, it's on the corner
Of Milwaukee, Congress, and Bridge
Or I can go down to Fred's and I will
Have a sandwich
Mormon Road
It is where the Strangites lived
Voree town
There is nothing to relive
All that remains of this Mormon village
Is a house, a plaque, a meeting hall
And the city that is lurking nearby
Is so very small
If you know anything about my town
Then you'll know the name of Tony Romo
And if you want to see his signed jersey
You know where to go
